A couple of things to note: the marinera is the dance of northern Peru. There’s one group in the video who, yes, their faces are painted black. They are supposed to be representing the Afro-Peruvian population. Political correctness doesn’t really exist down here. The dance with the crazy horn masks is from Puno (down near Lake Titicaca). The one with the tree is from Arequipa. The rest I cannot remember.
